Ren has been a chef since completing his  training in 1995. During his career, he has had the pleasure and experience of working in top restaurants located in London, Brighton, and on his travels around Africa. He set up ren’s kitchen in 2008, with the intention of using his passion and experience to make fantastic catering accessible to anyone, irrespective of size or budget.

Since then, he's never looked back! ren's kitchen has expanded and grown every year. The once little café  that did small take away orders has grown into a buzzing café, and formed the heart of the local working community. The catering side of the business has expanded too, with the help of the amazing team that work at ren's! Last year ren's catered over 100 weddings and events, without losing any of their personal touch and attention to detail!

ren's kitchen is especially proud of the several charities they work with, including the Chestnut Tree Foundation.

James has been managing events and weddings for over 10 years in Brighton , London, and the South East.

His background is  in restaurants mainly working front of house. James prides himself in his attention to detail, and listening to each client’s individual mental picture for their event, and then creating it with them.

In his spare time, both him and his partner love throwing dinner parties and afternoon teas for friends and family. His French cassoulet is pretty famous among his guests, as are his home made lemon sherbet marshmallows

 

James planned his own wedding two years ago with a ‘mad hatter’s tea party’ theme.

Richard's career history includes 5 star hotel and function management, including roles as a sommelier and head waiter.  His history is not exclusive to hospitaility and he has enjoyed over 14 years in sales for a soft drinks giant. However the lure of the trade brought him back, in particular to Worthing.

In recent years he has managed to help build positive reputations for pubs in the town, however in 2019 Idecided to switch to event management. At Ren’s Kitchen he has varied and enjoyable workday's on a regular basis which takes him all over the county, up into London from fields and marquees, to city centre statley homes – no two days are the same!
