I has been a chef since completing my training in 1995. During my career, I have had the pleasure and experience of working in top restaurants located in London, Brighton, and on my travels around Africa. I set up ren’s kitchen in 2008, with the intention of using my passion and experience to make fantastic catering accessible to anyone, irrespective of size or budget.
Since then, I've never looked back! ren's kitchen has expanded and grown every year. The once little café that did small take away orders has grown into a buzzing café, and formed the heart of the local working community. The catering side of the business has expanded too, with the help of the amazing team that work at ren's! Last year ren's catered over 100 weddings and events, without losing any of their personal touch and attention to detail!
ren's kitchen is especially proud of the several charities they work with, including the Chestnut Tree Foundation.
Hi there! I’m Chris. Hospitality has always been in my blood. My father was a hotelier for many years so I have always been in and around great hospitality and fantastic food. I joined the hospitality industry at sixteen years old and never looked back.
I have worked across all parts of the industry from pubs, restaurants, and contract catering. I have been with Ren’s Kitchen since 2023 and absolutely love the philosophy of what we do.
I have two young boys who take up most of my spare time. We love the outdoors as well as playing and watching as much football as possible.
The passion and commitment to delivering awesome food and hospitality is something that sits close to my heart. I look forward to meeting you soon.
Hey I’m Kelly, Ren’s Kitchen’s general manager and events manager. I’ve been with Ren’s since 2020, after graduating the University of Chichester in Events and Marketing Management. I have developed my wedding and events skills through the years with around 300 under my belt but who is counting!
My favourite part of weddings is watching families come together and share a meal and watching their faces light but when dishes hit the table. It’s exactly how I like to eat on a Sunday with my family, platters of delicious food to help yourself to for as long as it lasts.
Hey I'm Molly, Ren's Kitchen Event manager. I've been with Ren's since 2019 and have loved every minute of it. Each and every event is different and there is something so special and rewarding about being such a big part of someone’s big day. I love being able to bring my attention to detail and creative flair to events and work with couples to make there day a reflection of them (it all starts with the food!).
My favourite part is watching the months (sometimes years!) of planning all come together on the day and watching the guests face light up as we bring the dishes to the table.
I’m planning my wedding at the moment, so I’m always gleaning ideas from other weddings to steal for my own day.
